  1. I’ve tried Proactive before, it wokerd for a while but, like all other drugs-my system built a tolerance to it. I am 26 F, i’ve tried EVERYTHING. This works for me:Morning: Only rinse face, add slight moisturizer (100% Aloe Vera Lotion, found at a natural health food store..maybe even GNC)Evening: Wash face with Ivory soap. It’s cheap, 100% soap, so no extra stuff in it for breakouts or to clog pores. Use a mild astringent with a cotton ball, like Clean Clear, to remove excess dirt. If your skin is dry, use the moisturizer again. For treating the acne topically, go to your local Wal Mart- Walgreen’s-or Natural Health store, get a bottle of Tea Tree Oil. Costs about $ 10? Use a q-tip to apply topically to the pimple, or for worse break-outs, spread over the entire area. Careful not to use super often, it will dry out your skin.!! Works almost immediately!A few times a week: Use a gentle facial scrub to exfoliate dead skin. Use very carefully though, it will aggravate breakouts if you scrub too hard. Depending on how old you are, hormones, stress, have a lot to do with it too. So, be sure to eat right, rest, take care of yourself! Good luck!
